At the top of Kroger’s 6/13 ad, it said to inquire with the pharmacist about how to get $25 for a transferred prescription. So, I asked. I was told that all I had to do was bring in or just give them the details of my prescription from another pharmacy and they would transfer it and load $25 on my Kroger Plus card. There is NO Coupon needed!! I transferred two last week and another one this week!! I was told that there is a $300 limit.

Sharon, I just wanted to thank you for telling us about the Kindle for PC. I put the Kindle on my laptop and proceeded to download dozens of free books! I had been debating since last fall about buying a Kindle and didn’t know if I would like not having the actual book in my hands or not. I liked the PC Kindle so well that about a month ago I broke down and bought myself a Kindle. It is so neat! It is compact, you can change the font, it will read to you and if you buy a book(or download a free book) Amazon downloads to both of my Kindles! I have about 80 books on there now and have only bought $25 worth (with a gift card from a friend! Thanks, Tracey D.)I even downloaded the Bible free! Can you imagine taking 80 books with you on vacation in one little piece of tachnology? I love it!!! I was reading an article in a magazine and found out an interesting tidbit. You know the money machines at Kroger, where you can take your change and turn it into cash. Well, I didn’t know that they charge you 8.9 cents per dollar to turn it into cash for you. I guess because I’ve never used it before. The article also said that you can get 100% of your money back if you place that money on a gift card or eCertificate for merchandise at Amazon, iTunes, Love’s, Old Navy, Starbucks, and others. You can also donate your money to a charity like American Red Cross or the March of Dimes, etc. Remember all charitable donations are tax free too. Just thought this was interesting and thought you might like to know about this money saving tip.
I am now a stay at home mother and am new to the coupon thing. I saw i Food Lion’s leaflet that they had All detergent buy one get one free. A couple of weeks ago, I saw a coupon for All Free and Clear. I was wondering if you knew if that coupon was still good and if it is, where can I get one. I tried All’s website, but the onlu coupon they had available was for All Oxi-active.

Have you checked in the store? They should be able to tell you where to go to redeem that rebate. I have not used the OD rebates yet so I don’t know if you just pick up a rebate request from in store. Sorry. I don’t see it online either.
Sharon, I went to OD and the rebates are printed on the receipts when u purchase them!! They even made copies of my receipt for me to send in!
They had a sign for a free rebate above a 12 pk of scented markers of purchase price $7.99 and the rebate didn’t print. She went and looked and it was an old ad they forgot to remove. I told her that was ok and she said no that they would fix it. She handed me back $7.99 in cash to fix their mistake!! They were so nice! I am now a fan of OD!!

Welcome to Real Life Deals Megan The next coupon class is going to be on August 16 from 5:30-7:30. This month will just be swapping coupons – not a real class like normal. I shopped at kroger today getting tide, downey, charmin and such. i did have my coupons from kroger uploaded on my card but did not do the pg savers. i dont think i received all discounts. I went back and uploaded pg savers so this will be a extra discount. also i did not see the 4 dollars off my price eithier for buying 4 of the products. please help me with what i need to do.
Sorry you didn’t get all the discounts you thought you should. A couple things to remember: You must load the ecoupons before you shop. They are bonus coupons that don’t always come off – esp if you use paper manufacurers coupons. Technically you only get 1 coupon per product but sometimes a paper coupon will still work if you have an ecoupon. If you bought 4 participating items and didn’t get $4.00 deducted automatically as part of the P&G promotion, just go back to your local store and ask the manager. Hopefully this wiill help.
Sharon….I found a good deal on shutterfly today. I custom made 3 cards with my own pictures and text for $1.06 shipped! My Dad, Father-in-law and Husbands b-days are all in August so this really came in handy. I would have paid way more than $1.06 for 3 cards elsewhere!

I went to Kroger yesterday and bought my husband Schick razor refills and had an ecoupon loaded onto my Kroger card for $4 off. I checked my receipt since it was a high dollar coupon and I didn’t have a paper one. It was not on there so I took your advice and called Kroger’s headquarters. After waiting over 10 min. they gave me another # just for coupons loaded onto your Kroger card. That # is 1-888-553-3003. She was super nice and credited $4 to my Kroger card for my next visit and also told me that when we use other sites like Cellfire and Shortcuts make sure that we don’t download duplicate ones. For example if you already have a coupon downloaded for Downey from the Kroger site…don’t download another Downey coupon from another site. She said that it will cause an error and kick all of the Downey coupons out and not use any of them. Even if you are buying 2. So that could be a reason that some ecoupons don’t work! She said that I had several errors on my Kroger card because of this! I just thought that was some useful info!
Hey.. went to the mall -rack room shoes $5 off coupon gift card thing (like you put on here) It has to be $5 before taxes. so I got a 4.99 sock and a .99 sock. I did need these for a gift so it worked out well! Also- Aveda Store in mall- they said to get their reward card you had to pay $10??? I thought you said you got yours for free?? I called Playtex 1-877-475-2983 and asked for coupons (tampons) and they told me they would send me a coupon for $5.99 which will make a FREE box of tampons she said.. so don’t know if they always do this but you could call and try!

hey.. i went to lexington today to the mall.. they have holiday coupon books out ….don’t konw if this is the same as the other book u got. I was able to get a free travel size pillow from Sleep Number store (it said when you find out your sleep number- but the guy saw me with my kids and said i can just give it to you ) It had a free coffee from starbucks no purchase necessary. We ate at IHOP and used our free meal that we received by joining the emails.. so we only had to pay tip. Got lots of free and really cheap things today!! Also you know the Kotex coupons for $2.oo off 2 packs. You know at Wal-Mart the packs that are like .97 cents . It is legit to use those coupons on those Kotex pads right. I have had no trouble before but I had some issues tonight with someone saying that they are not legit b/c 2 together doesn’t equal $2. I want to be like you and use real coupons that are legit? As for the Kotex…..I still try to use that coupon because the .97 liners are still pads….. I haven’t tried to use the coupon in about 3 months because I have such a stash and I just honeestly sometimes hate to mess with it. One friends says it no longer works for her because the store has decided that liners are not really pads So that’s one for you to decide if it’s worth the problem. Doesn’t Hburg accept coupons better than Dville Walmart? I’ve never shopped at Hburg so don’t know. before it always worked and in 2 different check out lanes I had 2 different experiences. The lady was like this is not right ..like i explained earlier.. but I went thru another lane ( a older man) and it was COMPLIMENTING me on how I was doing good saving money by using coupons.. Good questions. Here you go – hope this helps. You can always only use one manuf coupon for one item – doesn’t matter if it says so or not. But you can use store coupon in addition to the manuf coupon so if you had a rite aid huggies coupon plus a manuf huggies then you can get 2 coupons for the same item. Make sense?
The turkey deal – where is that at? I don’t remember seeing that one and can’t remember the details on it. Where is that at? Is it Kroger?
Its a manf coupon. It says save $4 on butterball turkey when buy any combo of 4 crescent rolls, stove top or gravy. I saw another coupon in the sunday paper. I guess since its a manf coupon I cant use another.
I missed that coupon (prob because my freezer is full and there’s no room for a turkey so I knew I wasn’t buying one this week). since the coupon is off the turkey because you bought the 4 items, you may be able to buy 8 items and use 2 coupons. I’ll look tomorrow and see if I find that coupon and see what the wording is. Worst case? They won’t let you use it and you can just put the extra 4 items back on the shelf. That’s not double dipping though if you buy the required items. I’ll check on it and see. If you try it, I’d love to hear if it works!
This is a .35/1 IP for hamburger, chicken, tuna helper. When you buy 3 you get a $1.50 CAT. Last I checked, they were $1.50 each. I’m not sure when the catalina deal expires.

CVS has the tylenol precise heat patchs on sale for 7.99 and you get 2.00 extra bucks.. not in ad but just happened to look..I had a 3.00 off manufacter coupon and then a internet CVS coupon for 2.00 .. so it made a great deal for 1 pkg. I paid .99 cents after extra bucks and coupons are taken off!!!!

UPDATE ON AVEDA… you don’t even have to print ad ( i think) just bring them a new toy and receive a full size pure-fume! You get to choose a scent .. I can’t believe the real cost is $20.00!!! I missed the last class at the Library. What are we doing with expired coupons now? Also I find it frustrating trying to review my Kroger receipts to be sure I got credit for my items and coupons especially when their ink is very low… any advice?? there have been times when I didn’t think I got all my 10 item credits but the print is such a poor quality I gave up trying.

also.. i forget to ask you a while back at kroger in h-burg i had a negative balance (which i hadn’t had before) and they asked their manager and the manager told them to give me cash back ! is that what they were supposed to do? i don’t know but they asked their manager – so I took the money since the manager told the cashier to give it to me.
Good for you! But…..I never get cash back. Technically they are not supposed to pay you. Although it does sometimes happen. I always grab a pack of gum or osemthing so I will always pay a little bit at least. Congrats on such a good shopping trip!
I always request my Amazon card (450 swabucks) every time I get to 450. Then I move the gift card to my Amazon account and let it sit. I don’t think there is an expiration date there. I let those sit in my Amazon account for quite a while and get as many as I can before I use them up. I think you could def put them there and wait to use them for Cmas presents! Hi Sharon! I’m not sure if you are aware of this or not so I thought I would share.
At the top of Kroger’s 6/13 ad, it said to inquire with the pharmacist about how to get $25 for a transferred prescription. So, I asked. I was told that all I had to do was bring in or just give them the details of my prescription from another pharmacy and they would transfer it and load $25 on my Kroger Plus card. There is NO Coupon needed!! I transferred two last week and another one this week!! I was told that there is a $300 limit.

Sharon, I just wanted to thank you for telling us about the Kindle for PC. I put the Kindle on my laptop and proceeded to download dozens of free books! I had been debating since last fall about buying a Kindle and didn’t know if I would like not having the actual book in my hands or not. I liked the PC Kindle so well that about a month ago I broke down and bought myself a Kindle. It is so neat! It is compact, you can change the font, it will read to you and if you buy a book(or download a free book) Amazon downloads to both of my Kindles! I have about 80 books on there now and have only bought $25 worth (with a gift card from a friend! Thanks, Tracey D.)I even downloaded the Bible free! Can you imagine taking 80 books with you on vacation in one little piece of tachnology? I love it!!! I was reading an article in a magazine and found out an interesting tidbit. You know the money machines at Kroger, where you can take your change and turn it into cash. Well, I didn’t know that they charge you 8.9 cents per dollar to turn it into cash for you. I guess because I’ve never used it before. The article also said that you can get 100% of your money back if you place that money on a gift card or eCertificate for merchandise at Amazon, iTunes, Love’s, Old Navy, Starbucks, and others. You can also donate your money to a charity like American Red Cross or the March of Dimes, etc. Remember all charitable donations are tax free too. Just thought this was interesting and thought you might like to know about this money saving tip.

Have you checked in the store? They should be able to tell you where to go to redeem that rebate. I have not used the OD rebates yet so I don’t know if you just pick up a rebate request from in store. Sorry. I don’t see it online either.
Sharon, I went to OD and the rebates are printed on the receipts when u purchase them!! They even made copies of my receipt for me to send in!
They had a sign for a free rebate above a 12 pk of scented markers of purchase price $7.99 and the rebate didn’t print. She went and looked and it was an old ad they forgot to remove. I told her that was ok and she said no that they would fix it. She handed me back $7.99 in cash to fix their mistake!! They were so nice! I am now a fan of OD!!

Welcome to Real Life Deals Megan The next coupon class is going to be on August 16 from 5:30-7:30. This month will just be swapping coupons – not a real class like normal. In September we plan to have another real coupon class. That’s where we’ll be discussing the different stores and how to use coupons at each one. I shopped at kroger today getting tide, downey, charmin and such. i did have my coupons from kroger uploaded on my card but did not do the pg savers. i dont think i received all discounts. I went back and uploaded pg savers so this will be a extra discount. also i did not see the 4 dollars off my price eithier for buying 4 of the products. please help me with what i need to do.
Sorry you didn’t get all the discounts you thought you should. A couple things to remember: You must load the ecoupons before you shop. They are bonus coupons that don’t always come off – esp if you use paper manufacurers coupons. Technically you only get 1 coupon per product but sometimes a paper coupon will still work if you have an ecoupon. If you bought 4 participating items and didn’t get $4.00 deducted automatically as part of the P&G promotion, just go back to your local store and ask the manager. Hopefully this wiill help.

Sharon….I found a good deal on shutterfly today. I custom made 3 cards with my own pictures and text for $1.06 shipped! My Dad, Father-in-law and Husbands b-days are all in August so this really came in handy. I would have paid way more than $1.06 for 3 cards elsewhere!

Guess what went to kroger and got the batteries you were talking about on the blog -they were 4 dollars today and had a dollar off coupon – then an e-coupon of 1 came off!! YEAH!!! Alot of name brand batteries for only $2!!!!
I went to Kroger yesterday and bought my husband Schick razor refills and had an ecoupon loaded onto my Kroger card for $4 off. I checked my receipt since it was a high dollar coupon and I didn’t have a paper one. It was not on there so I took your advice and called Kroger’s headquarters. After waiting over 10 min. they gave me another # just for coupons loaded onto your Kroger card. That # is 1-888-553-3003. She was super nice and credited $4 to my Kroger card for my next visit and also told me that when we use other sites like Cellfire and Shortcuts make sure that we don’t download duplicate ones. For example if you already have a coupon downloaded for Downey from the Kroger site…don’t download another Downey coupon from another site. She said that it will cause an error and kick all of the Downey coupons out and not use any of them. Even if you are buying 2. So that could be a reason that some ecoupons don’t work! She said that I had several errors on my Kroger card because of this! I just thought that was some useful info!
Hey.. went to the mall -rack room shoes $5 off coupon gift card thing (like you put on here) It has to be $5 before taxes. so I got a 4.99 sock and a .99 sock. thanks so much for letting me know.. and do you ever call the 1-800 numbers and ask for coupons.. i do and the other day I called a bunch and am going to be getting several coupons soon.. I called Playtex 1-877-475-2983 and asked for coupons (tampons) and they told me they would send me a coupon for $5.99 which will make a FREE box of tampons she said.. so don’t know if they always do this but you could call and try!
I bought a Harold Leader on Sunday in Stanford and didno get a Protor and Gamble coupons in it was it just in some towns and not in others???

hey.. i went to lexington today to the mall.. they have holiday coupon books out ….don’t konw if this is the same as the other book u got. I was able to get a free travel size pillow from Sleep Number store (it said when you find out your sleep number- but the guy saw me with my kids and said i can just give it to you ) It had a free coffee from starbucks no purchase necessary. We ate at IHOP and used our free meal that we received by joining the emails.. so we only had to pay tip. Got lots of free and really cheap things today!! Very fun.. till we got in our van and the battery was DEAD

Thanks for bringing your friends. As for the Kotex…..I still try to use that coupon because the .97 liners are still pads….. I haven’t tried to use the coupon in about 3 months because I have such a stash and I just honeestly sometimes hate to mess with it. One friends says it no longer works for her because the store has decided that liners are not really pads 
So that’s one for you to decide if it’s worth the problem. Doesn’t Hburg accept coupons better than Dville Walmart? I’ve never shopped at Hburg so don’t know. You saw tonight how even though I try to stay legit with my coupons, sometimes mistakes just happen

before it always worked and in 2 different check out lanes I had 2 different experiences. The lady was like this is not right ..like i explained earlier.. but I went thru another lane ( a older man) and it was COMPLIMENTING me on how I was doing good saving money by using coupons.. I got a question about coupons…if you have a manf coupon but it doesnt say one per purchase can you use another one?
for example, diapers on sale at rite aid for $5.99 after up reward, I have a manf coupon for 2.50, it doesnt say one per purchase so can i also you another manf coupon for same purchase?

the butterball coupon for $4 off when buy 4 gravy, ect…if i buy 8 of them and have another $4 coupon can I get $8 off the turkey?

Good questions. Here you go – hope this helps. You can always only use one manuf coupon for one item – doesn’t matter if it says so or not. But you can use store coupon in addition to the manuf coupon so if you had a rite aid huggies coupon plus a manuf huggies then you can get 2 coupons for the same item. Make sense?
The turkey deal – where is that at? I don’t remember seeing that one and can’t remember the details on it. Where is that at? Is it Kroger?
Its a manf coupon. It says save $4 on butterball turkey when buy any combo of 4 crescent rolls, stove top or gravy. I saw another coupon in the sunday paper. I guess since its a manf coupon I cant use another.
I missed that coupon (prob because my freezer is full and there’s no room for a turkey so I knew I wasn’t buying one this week). since the coupon is off the turkey because you bought the 4 items, you may be able to buy 8 items and use 2 coupons. I’ll look tomorrow and see if I find that coupon and see what the wording is. Worst case? They won’t let you use it and you can just put the extra 4 items back on the shelf. That’s not double dipping though if you buy the required items. I’ll check on it and see. If you try it, I’d love to hear if it works!
This is a .35/1 IP for hamburger, chicken, tuna helper. When you buy 3 you get a $1.50 CAT. Last I checked, they were $1.50 each. I’m not sure when the catalina deal expires.

CVS has the tylenol precise heat patchs on sale for 7.99 and you get 2.00 extra bucks.. not in ad but just happened to look..I had a 3.00 off manufacter coupon and then a internet CVS coupon for 2.00 .. so it made a great deal for 1 pkg. I paid .99 cents after extra bucks and coupons are taken off!!!!

CVS has Purex sheets on sale for $7.99 buy 1 get 1 free. I have a rain check for Purex sheets for $5.99 with $2. ECB they said I couldn’t use both. I can get 1 package for 5.99 but I couldn’t get the free one. Is this right? I should have asked for the manager.

UPDATE ON AVEDA… you don’t even have to print ad ( i think) just bring them a new toy and receive a full size pure-fume! You get to choose a scent .. I can’t believe the real cost is $20.00!!! But got it for free by giving a toy for toy drive. They also gave me a sample of their tea and then also gave me a free neck massage!!!

I missed the last class at the Library. What are we doing with expired coupons now? Also I find it frustrating trying to review my Kroger receipts to be sure I got credit for my items and coupons especially when their ink is very low… any advice?? there have been times when I didn’t think I got all my 10 item credits but the print is such a poor quality I gave up trying.

also.. i forget to ask you a while back at kroger in h-burg i had a negative balance (which i hadn’t had before) and they asked their manager and the manager told them to give me cash back ! is that what they were supposed to do? i don’t know but they asked their manager – so I took the money since the manager told the cashier to give it to me.
Good for you! But…..I never get cash back. Technically they are not supposed to pay you. Although it does sometimes happen. I always grab a pack of gum or osemthing so I will always pay a little bit at least. Congrats on such a good shopping trip!
I always request my Amazon card (450 swabucks) every time I get to 450. Then I move the gift card to my Amazon account and let it sit. I don’t think there is an expiration date there. I let those sit in my Amazon account for quite a while and get as many as I can before I use them up. I think you could def put them there and wait to use them for Cmas presents! Glad you’re able to do swagbucks again finally!!!!
