I’ve seen alot of things online. I’ve heard of the strange things you can find on ebay (anyone remember when Mother Mary’s face was seen on a piece of toast? or was that the face of Jesus?) If you can imagine it, you can probably find it online.
This past week I was told about a new-to-me site called Become.com. My first thought was that this is just another random site where you can find everything from leather tufted loveseat brass buttons to a flashing led hitch light. But as I have been looking around the site, I see that it is actually a useful website worth visiting.
Here’s how it seems to work:
You type in the item you are looking for. (I typed in levis jeans 511 sulfur and it came up with where you can buy that particular jean.) I tried a more random product and got many more results.
This is basically a shopping mall at your fingertips where you can see what Kohls has their items on sale for along with a bunch of other online sites.
My opinion
I love shopping online. I feel that I often get the best price for items when I shop online rather than in the physical store. I think become.com can be one of my many options for price checking and comparison shopping. I want to know that when I make a purchase I will be getting the best deal.
