I’ve decided to bring back the step by step $5 Deal Scenarios for CVS. Here’s my plan. I never want to spend more than $5.00 and I want to see how far I can stretch it by doing multiple transactions.

Transaction #1:
Buy Colgate Maxclean/Maxwhite 2.49
Use .50 coupon from today’s newspaper
Pay $1.99 plus tax
Get 1.50 Extra Bucks

Transaction #2:
Buy 1 Gain dish detergent .88
Use .50 coupon from recent paper – .33
Buy 2 V05 Shampoo/Conditioners .66 each = 1.32
Use 1.50 Extra Bucks
Pay a few pennies plus tax

Total out of pocket – Less than $3.00!

***Update: The coupon printer spit out a coupon for $2.00 off any 2 Pantene products. I had a coupon for $3.00 off 2. I stacked the 2 coupons and got Pantene instead of VO5! Still payed only $2.55 for all 4 products!!! Woo-Hoo!

For a very detailed CVS coupon matchups, my friend Cathy does an amazing job!

Love the idea of your weekly $5 scenarios!

Don’t forget to scan your Green Bag Tag for another 25¢ each trip, too! :)

And, thanks for the link back ♥

I love the bag tag! I used to post these $5 scenarios all the time but then got busy and had to basically reintroduce myself to the CVS employees lol…. But I love CVS and always have! Really appreciate you doing the hard work!!! :-)
