Who needs some Gas Money this week? I am so excited to share $50 in free gas to 4 of you readers!!! That’s right! 4 winners will win a card with discounts preloaded.
Each card has an automatic $2.50 discount up to 20 gallons of gas preloaded. That means that you can save $50 at your next fill-up!
If your vehicle won’t hold 20 gallons of gas, then take both of your vehicles and fill them both up at one time to get max savings!
Here’s the details.
Shell Gasoline has something called a Fuel Rewards Card.
This is a loyalty card that you register online at fuelrewards.com or via the iPhone app, and can link it to your usual payment card. Then, when you use that payment card to make purchases through the online mall or at participating local restaurants you generate rewards. There is no limit to the amount of rewards you can generate, or how many rewards you can redeem at once (you redeem rewards at the pump by swiping your card before you pay – you can redeem rewards on up to 20 gallons of fuel per visit).
How it works
Go to Fuel Rewards.com.
Register your card. (You can pick one up for free OR win a preloaded card here!)
Go to your local Shell Station.
Scan your fuel rewards card.
Receive $2.50 discount off the price of your gas! (up to 20 gallons)
Pay the difference with your regular payment method.
***If you have a bi-lo grocery, you can link your bi-lo loyalty card to receive even more savings!
My Experience
When I used my card this past weekend, I decided to get the premium gas for my husband’s truck. The gas was $3.99 before discount. I actually paid $1.49 per gallon! I haven’t seen that price in years! I filled up the truck and then had about 2 gallons left to reach my 20 gallon max. So I went ahead and filled up the gas can so we’ll be ready for the next lawn mowing day this next week! I saved a full $50 at the pump!
I received a Fuel Rewards card for the purpose of this review

The cheapest price I remember is $1.99.
This is awesome! I would love to save money on filling up my car!
when I started driving I could fill the car up for $5.00!!!
I remember gas as low as 88 cents….those were the days!
I can’t remember the exact amount-getting old- but it was less than $1.
I remember when gas was $1.59/gallon and we thought that was too high. I was a kid, but my sister was driving and would take all of us kids to do fun stuff that was free. She could put $5-7 in her tank and we could go lots of places. Today we can go up the block.

The cheapest gas I can remember is .79 when I was in high school. I would love to see that again….
A long time ago…there was a gas war and one station had it for .25¢.
I remember gas being .89 and .99…..those were the days!
Would love to fill the Yukon up on that price.
I can remember getting it around .80 in Georgia!
Hope I win! Wood
I can remember gas that only cost .79 a gallon and I’m sure we griped about the price back then too!
