I recently received a free review copy of How to Be God’s Little Princess: Royal Tips for Manners, Etiquette and True Beauty by Sheila Walsh from Tommy Nelson/Book Sneeze. In return, I am to give my honest review to you.

If you are already a fan of GiGi, God’s Little Princess, the character in a series of books and dvds by Sheila Walsh, you will be a fan of this book. If you are not familiar with GiGi, this book is still a great guide for young girls.

This pink, hardback book is packed with small 4-6 question quizzes that help a young girl learn how to act, dress, speak, and behave with proper manners. It covers everything from how to dress at a ball or a swim party, how to keep your hair clean, apologize to a friend, order at a restaurant and answer a phone.

My 6 year old daughter is loving the interactive aspect of answering the questions in the quizzes. This is a great book to get the conversation started when girls are still impressionable and dream about being the perfect princess.

Even the Mom gets elevated to the status of “royal advisor”! I love it.

Sorry folks…. if you are interested in this book, you’ll have to request it at your local library or pre-order your copy from

This copy is going to be used around here for a bit longer!
