Facebook has changed the way you ‘unlike’ companies from your account.
Here’s how to keep your facebook account from being overrun with company ads:
Login to your account.
Click on your name to open your personal timeline
Click on Update Info (on the right of your timeline)
Click on About
Then drop down to Likes
Click Edit on the right of the new page
Scroll down to the words “Other Pages You Like”
Click on that link.
Click Unlike beside all the pages you no longer want to like
I do this every few months so my home page doesn’t get clogged with company ads and notices.
***If you want to remain updated on the application/page, you can always just ‘hide’ the brand on your home page. This will allow you to remain friends (or still like them) but you won’t have to see all their updates.
