
Jets Over KY
A Kentucky Top 10 Summer Event, more than 150 pilots from all over the U.S. and beyond participate in Jets Over Kentucky Week each July, making it the largest event of its kind in the world.
Thousands of spectators come to see a “Parade of Lights,” dog fights, aerobatics, fireworks, T-28 Special, mass habu plane launch and various other competitions. Come in early and enjoy the area attractions and other events.

Lebanon KY (about 30 minutes from Danville,
1 1/2 hour from Louisville)
Location: Lebanon-Springfield Airport
Cost: Admission is $5 per person, 12 & under free.
Thurs., July 12
Open to spectators – Admission is $5 per person, 12 & under free.
9 a.m. to dark – RC jet demonstrations.
Fri., July 13
Open to spectators – Admission is $5 per person, 12 & under free.
9 a.m. to dark – RC jet competitions and demonstrations.
Dark – Parade of Lights, fireworks.


This is not really a comment about an activity, but is about something I learned when I visited the website (hope it will count): RC jets cost an average of $10,000 to $30,000 – I would have figured they were much more expensive….
