Puzzle Pieces

Takes 10 minutes
Makes 24 cookies

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 box graham crackers
3/4 cup broken pecans

Directions

Line a large cookie sheet with graham crackers.
Melt butter and margarine in a saucepan.
Stir in sugar and bring to a boil and pour over graham crackers.
Sprinkle broken pecans over top and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Remove from cookies sheet quickly because they set up pretty fast.
Cool completely on a wire rack.

This recipe came from some old Home Economics files I found in my first classroom. My middle school students have always loved making them. I liked the recipe because it used ingredients I almost always had on hand.
