Being a Mom can be a little messy. Jennifer Grant has taken that truth and turned it into a full book: Momumental: Adventures in the Messy Art of Raising a Family
This book is a great addition to any Mom’s library. It is a loosely connected book of chapters dealing with different aspects of parenting and raising a family. You can easily pick up the book and read for 5 minutes then lay it down and come back when you have another 5 minutes in the car line or between feedings.
This is an honest look at how being a parent is a series of one-day-at-a-time choices that ultimately help shape our children’s lives. I loved the fact that Jennifer is not giving lists of dos and don’ts. This book is just a reflection of the things she has learned, observed and seen over the past 20 years of being a mom.
