Earlier this week I went by the bank and had money deposited into my kids savings account.
Kids that get A’s on their report cards can get money deposited into a savings account – no charge at 2 local area banks! This is an awesome deal!
The program is called the Honor Roll Savings Account
First Southern Bank offers this program to all students (kindergarten – seniors). I think there are about 23 branches located in KY.
For every A (or equivalent if they are in kindergarten and get checks etc.) on the report card, they will have $1.00 deposited. (max $10 per report card term).
You can open the account with no money. No fees while they are a student.
Monticello Bank (locations in Liberty, Russell Springs, other locations ) also offers money for A’s on student’s report cards! Just bring in your student’s report card and they will award $1.00 for every A (up to $10)!
Other states offer similar programs. Click here to see the list of banks I’ve found in other parts of the country. ***If you know of another bank anywhere USA that offers money for grades, I’d love to add it to the list!
