I love stories of local people who are following their dream! Here is a great story of a Hustonville KY native who has been a writer all her life and now has her first book published! Read the article from the Advocate Messenger here.

Sandra Chandler began writing as a child, when she would make up endings to old thriller movies so that her sister wouldn’t have nightmares.

“Outcast of the Dream World is the first in a series, The Dream World, of YA fantasy novels mainly about a vampire and a witch but also graced by a leprechaun, gypsies, magical rings, portals and another realm. Come play in a perfect world where supernatural beings encounter both everyday and paranormal problems: An ostracized vampire must risk everything to save a mortal trapped in another realm.
