I purchased a Glade Fragrance Mist Starter kit last week. Actually I got it free. It was on sale for 2.99 and I had a $3.00 coupon. So I didn’t pay anything but tax. But I was so excited because I had printed off a rebate form for the Mist starter kit that meant I would make money on my purchase. Unfortunately, I made 1 classic mistake – I didn’t read the form completely.

Rebate Tips:

1. Read the fine print. The fine print said I needed to mail the original hangtag found on the item. Since I didn’t buy a mist bottle with the hangtag, I was ineligible for the rebate offer.

2. Check the expiration date: Rebates come and go frequenty. Make sure you check the expiration date.

3. Keep the receipt and upc code: Without the proper receipt and upc code, you are unable to send in your rebate form and will not get your money.

I’m so glad that my mistake didn’t cost me money. Hopefully, you will follow these tips and be able to redeem your next rebate!

I have done so many of these rebate or should I say I have printed them with the intent to send them in with the receipt but I always forget to get an extra receipt or I forget to send in before it expires. I am becoming more diligent so thank you for all the wonderful tips to look for!
